Jiangxi Fengri officially embarked on the lean manufacturing journey in December 2023. After nearly five months of close collaboration among various departments and the active participation of employees, through efforts such as optimizing production processes, standardizing management, and improving production efficiency, the company has made initial progress in lean improvement.

Process Optimization Improves Efficiency

Jiangxi Fengri actively improves automated production processes and promotes a human-machine separation operation mode. For example, by adding rotating equipment for casting plates and coating, and improving the assembly, gluing, and packaging processes, it effectively reduces employee labor intensity and improves production efficiency. In terms of supply chain management, a "two-box system" has been established to effectively ensure the continuous supply of materials. A rolling plan has been introduced into the PMC system to track the implementation of plans in real-time, strengthening material management, improving the responsiveness and flexibility of the supply chain, and reducing the risk of production interruptions due to material shortages.

Standardized Management Yields Results

Jiangxi Fengri actively promotes 5S management. Through in-depth rectification and rational layout of the warehouse, material management has been optimized, reducing inventory space and labor costs, and lowering the company's overall operating costs. To further optimize the factory production environment and improve the level of regional visualization, the company actively conducted Bidding and cooperated with an advertising production company to use Kanban to clearly divide and identify zones, making it easier for employees to quickly locate and use materials, and improving work efficiency. Ye Xiangming, a lean production expert specially hired by the company, stated that Jiangxi Fengri's material standardization completion rate has reached 90%, promoting the smooth progress of production processes and making Jiangxi Fengri's overall production operations more efficient and orderly.

Improved Employee Skills

In the process of promoting lean production, Jiangxi Fengri regularly holds production training meetings for employees, emphasizing the "eight wastes," standardizing action rules, and promoting learning materials and video analysis. Through training, employees are further familiar with warehouse management processes, master operation skills and methods, strictly abide by work discipline, and actively practice the concept of thrift, maintaining the cleanliness and order of the work area, greatly improving employee work enthusiasm and efficiency. These efforts not only promote the smoothness of internal cooperation within the company but also help improve the overall image of Jiangxi Fengri.

Zhu Qingfeng, general manager of Jiangxi Fengri, said when discussing lean production goals that the company hopes to shorten the production cycle and increase production efficiency by 30% to 40% through the implementation of lean production strategies. After nearly a few months of lean management improvement, Jiangxi Fengri has made corresponding improvements in material and warehouse management. To further promote the achievement of production goals, he proposed to strengthen target management and assessment, while emphasizing the importance of long-term supervision.

Lean production is a long-term and continuously deepening process, and its effectiveness is not achieved overnight; it requires long-term accumulation and persistence. For Jiangxi Fengri, implementing lean production is a huge and long-term task that requires continuous progress through constant improvement and learning. Jiangxi Fengri is well aware that the road to lean production is a long and arduous one, but it also firmly believes that it will continue to promote this strategy with determination and perseverance, constantly pursuing excellent production efficiency and corporate benefits.
